Customer Insight Officer

Position Summary

The Customer Insight Officer at Clean Team Ghana is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting customer data to provide actionable insights that enhance the customer experience, drive product development, and inform strategic decisions. This role involves working closely with various departments to integrate customer feedback into all aspects of the company’s operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Data Collection and Analysis

  • Collect and analyze customer data from multiple sources including surveys, social media, and customer support interactions.
  • Identify trends and patterns in customer behavior, preferences, and feedback.
  • Maintain and manage customer feedback channels such as surveys and focus groups.

Research and Reporting

  • Conduct in-depth research on customer behavior and market trends.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on customer insights to management.
  • Develop key metrics and dashboards to track customer satisfaction, churn, and retention.

Customer Feedback Integration

  • Work with account managers, operations, sales, and other departments to integrate customer feedback into product development.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on customer insights to improve products, services, and processes.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Innovations Team, Sales and Marketing, and Accounts management teams to ensure insights are effectively utilized.
  • Coordinate with the IT team to ensure efficient and effective data collection and analysis processes.

Strategy Development

  • Develop and execute proactive customer engagement strategies to improve retention and satisfaction.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented recommendations and strategies, making adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a customer insights or market research role.
    • Experience with customer data analysis and reporting.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, or similar).

Measure of Success

  • Increase in customer satisfaction scores.
    • Improvement in customer retention and loyalty metrics.
    • Positive impact on revenue through improved customer insights.
    • Successful implementation and effectiveness of recommendations based on customer insights.
